Disclaimer: Hometown Flying Club Buckeye, Inc. is a nonprofit social club under IRS 501(c)(7). The club does not operate as a flight school and does not provide instruction for hire. All training arrangements are solely between members and independent CFIs who have been approved by the club for aircraft checkouts and member safety.

How Members Typically Train with Club Aircraft
Step 1: Discovery Flight
Prospective members may take a one-time introductory flight with an approved Club CFI to experience aviation and learn about our club.

Step 2: Ground Preparation
Independent CFIs provide ground instruction directly to members outside of club operations.

Step 3: In-Air Experience
Learn by doing. Members arrange with CFIs to complete flight lessons using club aircraft.

Step 4: Checkride Readiness
Member may coordinate with their CFIs to use club aircraft for checkrides.
